APEM HISTORY

1952 Creation of A.P.R : brand and factory for Industrial and Power Switches by engineer Jean Rogero. Modern switch standards are established.
1971 Creation of A.P.E.M : a second brand and factory for Miniature and Subminiature Switches.
1976 APEM starts establishing its international network of subsidiaries.
1987 Mors, a small High-Tech conglomerate, buys A.P.R & A.P.E.M to later create MORS COMPOSANTS. APEM and ARP remain as product brands.
1991 The company buys ASC (American Switch Corp.) and becomes a leading switch manufacturer in the USA.
1994/5 MORS COMPOSANTS is introduced on the Paris Stock Exchange and changes its name back to APEM.
APEM achieves the ISO 9001 certification
